Globetrotting Azeroth and beyond

Never thought I’d get it too!

Logged in today to find my first hate mail from an AH seller! Strong language behind cut:

This seemed like something the Greedy Goblin would feature, and I honestly never thought myself an AH player. Rather, just someone who farms on occasion and tries to make some coin off the AH through this bout of farming. I don’t flip stuff much, and I only have 1 crafting profession. So receiving such a mail feels like a compliment in some oddball way. I’m tempted to respond to this individual the way Greedy Goblin does, but figure it’s much better to leave Blizzard a pleasantly-written ticket. Still, so so tempting to troll.

Am I going to stop using the AH? No. Am I going to change my prices? Of course not. I will–however–use my bank alt to do this sort of selling from now on, though.

  1. I received an in-game mail like that once a few years ago. I had power leveled inscription not much after it was a new profession. I had been trying to AH all the glyphs I had made and was having limited success keeping up with the AH campers. After a month or so I still had MANY of the glyphs I had made. I got fed up with posting them in small increments so went and posted them all at dirt cheap prices. They were just taking up too much valuable storage space. The next day someone emailed me a hate mail and I got a good chuckle from it. I replied telling him that I didn’t care what they sold for…I just wanted them gone. If it bothered him that much I suggested that he buy them all and sell them for whatever he wanted. I never heard from him again and my glyphs all got sold…lol.
